The IXDE514PI is a low-side gate driver integrated circuit designed for high-speed applications, capable of sourcing and sinking a peak output current of 14A. It operates within a voltage range of 4.5V to 30V and is rated for an extended temperature range of -55¬8C to +125¬8C. The device features a unique ability to disable the output under fault conditions, entering a tristate mode to prevent damage to connected MOSFETs or IGBTs during short circuits. With rise and fall times of less than 30ns, the IXDE514PI is suitable for driving high-capacitance loads, making it ideal for applications such as motor controls, switch mode power supplies, and pulse generators.
