This Pressure Reducing Valve uses a Solenoid Shut-Off to interrupt the pressure reducing function and close the main valve. This valve is available as either normally open, where the solenoid is energized to close the main valve, or as normally closed where the solenoid is de-energized to close the main valve. Product Information: When faced with extreme pressures, our pressure reducing valves maintain a uniform downstream pressure. Regardless of the problem, regardless of the application, our valves perform under pressure. Under normal pressure reducing conditions, the pilot senses the downstream pressure through a connection at the valve outlet. During flowing conditions, the pilot reacts to small changes in pressure to control the valve position by modulating the pressure above the diaphragm. The downstream pressure is maintained steady at the pilot set-point which is adjustable.
