A hand groover with a sharp blade is necessary to make “U" or “V" shaped welding-rod grooves along the seam of two adjoining pieces. Hand groovers are ideal for short seams, design work and hard-to-reach areas. It is important to have a reserve of replacement blades available as the blade’s edge will dull with frequent use, making it difficult to cut through linoleum and other materials. This tool comes with seven spare blades.
