The CPDA is a self-contained assembly designed to be the primary user interface for the Mode 5 IFF Transponder installed in most military aircraft. A 4.1" wide VGA color active matrix liquid crystal display (AMLCD), which displays system configuration and status information, complements a set of mechanical switches used to access menu functions, default system level functions, and panel/transponder power.
