Single-component design with fully integrated gigabit Ethernet MAC allows for compact LAN on motherboard (LOM) implementation with reduced bill of materials (BOM) costs. These controllers are available with lead-free technology and are appropriate for embedded, desktop, workstation, and value-server designs that may have critical space constraints.
