XENSIV™ - TLE4929C-X2A-M38N Active Hall sensor for crankshaft applications
The Infineon XENSIV™ TLE4929C-X2A complements the TLE492x family by a pre-programmed version for wheels with 32 teeth. The sensor offers a rotation direction information via a PWM protocol and includes an integrated time watch dog. Furthermore, min/max detection, offset calculation and compensation, EEPROM-control and output control and Vdd-communication are implemented. The output comes with an open drain.
Packaged in a RoHS compliant 3-pin with Ni plating, the TLE4929C-X2A incorporates two integrated capacitors (470nF/25V and 1.8nF) on the pins, enhancing the device's EMC resistance.
Summary of Features
Middle tooth switching ensures backward compatibility
Stray-field robustness with differential sensing principle
Digital output signal including diagnosis interface
Direction detection
High accuracy and low jitter
Wide automotive operating temperature range
For speed and direction measurement
For tooth and pole wheels
Potential Applications
Crankshaft speed & direction sensing
