The IR35201 is a dual-output digital multi-phase PWM controller designed for CPU voltage regulation, compliant with Intel and AMD specifications. It operates with a switching frequency ranging from 194 kHz to 2 MHz per phase and supports configurations for 1-phase or 2-phase operation. The controller features IR's Efficiency Shaping Technology, which enhances efficiency across varying load conditions, and includes Dynamic Phase Control for optimal phase management based on load current. This device incorporates an Adaptive Transient Algorithm to minimize output bulk capacitors and system costs. It offers extensive fault protection features, including over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protections. The IR35201 is compatible with I2C, SMBus, and PMBus interfaces for telemetry reporting and can be easily configured using the IR PowIRCenter GUI. It operates within a supply voltage range of 2.9V to 3.63V and is housed in a 56-pin QFN package, suitable for industrial applications with an operating temperature range of -40¬8C to 85¬8C.
