The IR21531STRPBF is a self-oscillating half-bridge gate driver in an 8-lead SOIC package, designed for driving MOSFETs in high-voltage applications up to 600V. It features an integrated 15.6V zener clamp on Vcc, micropower startup, and a fixed 50% duty cycle oscillator with a typical deadtime of 0.6 µs. The device includes an internal bootstrap diode in the IR21531D variant, but this unit is the SOIC-packaged IR21531S without the internal diode. Operating conditions support a supply voltage range of 10V to 15.6V and a junction temperature from -40°C to 125°C.
