The ILD1151 is a multitopology high power LED DC/DC controller designed for industrial applications. It supports a wide input voltage range from 4.5 V to 45 V and can regulate constant current or constant voltage, making it suitable for various LED configurations including Boost, Buck, Buck-Boost, SEPIC, and Flyback topologies. The device features a flexible switching frequency range of 100 kHz to 500 kHz, which can be synchronized with an external clock source. Dimming options include both PWM and analog dimming, allowing for precise control of LED brightness. The ILD1151 incorporates several protection features such as open circuit detection, short to ground protection, output overvoltage protection, and over-temperature shutdown. It also has a low shutdown current of less than 10 µA and an internal soft start function to limit current peaks and voltage overshoot during startup. The product is packaged in a small thermally enhanced PG-SSOP-14 package and is RoHS compliant.
