Infineon Technologies AG Evaluation Boards CYW920829M2EVK-02

Description
The AIROC™ CYW20829 Bluetooth® LE MCU Evaluation Kit (CYW920829M2EVK-02) with its included on-board peripherals enables evaluation, prototyping, and development of a wide array of Bluetooth® Low Energy applications, all on Infineon’s low power, high performance AIROC™ CYW20829. The AIROC™ CYW20829’s robust RF performance and 10 dBm TX output power without an external power amplifier (PA). This provides enough link budget for the entire spectrum of Bluetooth® LE use cases including industrial IoT applications, smart home, asset tracking, beacons and sensors, and medical devices. The system features Dual Arm® Cortex® - M33s for powering the MCU and Bluetooth subsystem with programmable and reconfigurable analog and digital blocks. In addition, on the kit, there is a suite of on-board peripherals including six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), thermistor, analog mic, user programmable buttons (2), LEDs (2), and RGB LED. There is also extensive GPIO support with extended headers and Arduino Uno R3 compatibility for third-party shields. The kit is typically powered via USB and supports 1.8 V, 3.3 V, and coin cell operations. Additionally, the kit has a configurable RF path with to select between 0 dBm or 10 dBm operations. The integration between AIROC™ CYW20829 and the ModusToolbox™ software environment helps developers create Bluetooth® enabled IoT solutions with a rich set of tools for configuration, setting up peripherals, and complementing your projects with world-class middleware using the AIROC™ Bluetooth® stack. The kit also allows for programming and debugging through the on-board KitProg3 programmer/debugger. Code examples can be accessed here Kit Features Standard Arduino headers support Supports 3.3 V, coin-cell (3 V), and 1.8 V operation Customizable/Program mable user buttons Onboard micro-USB connector for programming and debugging Onboard sensors including six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit, Thermistor, and Mic Support for Infineon’s AIROCTM BTSTACK , a software implementation of Bluetooth® core 5.4 host protocol stack Support for the ModusToolbox™ software environment with configuration tools, low-level drivers, middleware libraries to enable you to create applications. Support for code examples from the Infineon GitHub repository. Kit Contents The CYW920829M2EVK-02 Evaluation Kit includes: CYW20829 Evaluation Board comprising of CYW9BTM2BASE3 and CYW920829M2IPA2 USB Type-A to Micro-B cable Six jumper wires (five inches each) Quick start guide Unboxing the AIROC™ CYW20829 Bluetooth® LE MCU Evaluation Kit
