BFY405(ES) is a HiRel NPN silicon RF transistor designed for low-current oscillator applications up to 12 GHz, with a transition frequency of 20 GHz and a noise figure of 1.15 dB at 1.8 GHz. It is housed in a hermetically sealed Micro-X package with a four-pin configuration and is space qualified under ESCC Detail Spec. No. 5611/008. Maximum collector-emitter voltage is 4.5 V, collector current is 12 mA, and total power dissipation is 55 mW at a soldering point temperature up to 145 °C. The junction and operating temperature range is -65 °C to 175 °C. The device meets ESD sensitivity precautions and is designed for flight use with screening per ESCC requirements.
