The Model 9125 is a Fibre Channel Extender that extends multimode segments up to 90km over single mode fiber. It is designed for installation into the Canoga Perkins Model 9101 LAN Chassis, and is available as a standalone for desktop or wall mount installation. The 9125 is especially suited for the long-distance extension of Fibre Channel segments. Optical port options include 850nm on multimode fiber, 1310nm and 1550nm on single mode fiber. The 9125 introduces Fibre Channel extension capability to the Canoga Perkins 9101 LAN Chassis. It is field installable and can coexist with Canoga Perkins Model 8829 10Mbps, 9119 100Mbps, and 9120 Gigabit Ethernet converters. The primary application of the Model 9125 is the interconnection of Fibre Channel equipment that operates at a speed of 1062 Mbps (1.062 Gbps). Basic features include Link Loss Forwarding (LLF), Canoga Remote Fault (RMTF), and Link Loss Echo (LLE). The user may enable, disable, and set the propagation direction of these features from a set of easily accessed switches located on the front panel.
