Hobart Brothers, an ITW Company Low Alloy Electrodes S148032-033

Description
Brand HOBART® Category Low Alloy Electrodes Description Outstanding welding electrode formulated specially for use in the repair of boiler tubes. Welds made on new to old, or old to new, tubes are free from porosity and slag inclusions that can lead to weld defects. Excellent starts and stops as well as a wide operating range and low spatter levels make this a preferred electrode for use in outage repairs. The coating is designed to resist moisture pick-up. A1 alloy content allows this product to be used for steels of up to .50% Molybdenum. Applications Single and multiple pass, DCEP, AC, All Position Industries Primarily used for pressure vessel applications which also includes construction and maintenance of boilers, piping and tubing.
