Brand HOBART® Category Low Alloy Electrodes Description Specifically designed for use in the repair of water wall tube panels in the power plant industry. The wide forgiving amperage range allows this product to be used on all thicknesses and diameters of tubes without chance of burn through. Product has excellent starts and stops especially when passing the arc on a tube weld. Has low spatter level, easy slag removal, and excellent bead wash which leads to high quality, X-ray clear welds. A new 12-inch length allows operators to get into tight work areas and still have enough electrode length to weld around large diameter tubes.
