ESDU 82019 provides estimates of frequency, mode shape, generalised mass and generalised stiffness for the undamped natural modes of vibration of rectangular sway frame buildings and other frame structures that may be modelled as plane frames. The data are particularly applicable in the estimation of the response of buildings and frame structures to wind or earthquake loading. The range of applicability includes lateral sway modes of vibration of frame structures. Fortran programs are provided ESDUpacs A8219 and C8219, respectively for sway frame buildings and for frame structures.
