IHS ESDU Thermal conductivity of ice, water and steam. 78039

Description
ESDU 78039 tabulates values at 10 K and 10 atmosphere intervals over the range from 0 to 800 degrees C and 1 to 1000 atmospheres. Values are also tabulated along the saturation line at 5 K intervals for both liquid and vapour. The values were calculated from a single equation that is included involving both viscosity and density. A simpler equation only involving density that represents the data well, away from the critical point, is included. The density values used were those from the 1968-IFC formulation and the viscosity values are those from ESDU 78040. An equation is also given for the variation of thermal conductivity of ice with temperature and the thermal conductivity of frost is discussed.
