IHS ESDU Dynamic viscosity of carbon dioxide gas and liquid. 76021

Description
ESDU 76021 tabulates dynamic viscosity values for temperatures from 240 to 1500 K and pressures from 1 to 1000 atmospheres. Also tabulated are dynamic and kinematic viscosities for saturated liquid and vapour. The dynamic viscosities were derived by fitting an equation (as a function of density and temperature) to a range of experimental data taken from 10 sources; the density was computed using the 1973 IUPAC formulation. Alternative equations are given for the dynamic viscosity for saturated liquid and for saturated vapour; they are functions only of temperature and so are easier to use in process calculations, yet represent the tabulated data very closely.
