Lead screws with right-hand and left-hand threads provide design engineers with additional design freedom and frequently reduce costs because a second lead screw control incl. a second drive is not needed. With the exception of a few millimeters in the center of the lead screw, the entire length can be used for the stroke. Matching lubricant-free nuts with right-hand and left-hand threads are also available from stock.
