Use this Tubing Expanding Awl when working with barbed fittings. Sometimes the tubing can be too tight to fit over the barb properly. This Awl can also be used with semi-rigid tubing (e.g., FEP, Dupont PFA, etc.), for those rare applications where this tubing needs to be paired with a barbed fitting. By expanding the ID of the tubing, it will make it an easier process to insert the barbed fitting into place.
