Orange SBE® 80 housing is a two-pole connector housing rated for up to 80 amps per pole with silver-plated copper alloy contacts for 6 AWG (16 mm²) wire, designed for industrial applications requiring touch-safe operation per IEC 60950 and compliance with EN1175:2020. It supports up to eight auxiliary contacts for signal or control circuits, with a maximum operating temperature of 105°C and 10,000 mating cycles. The housing is made of polycarbonate/PBT blend and meets UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Mated dimensions are 112.2 mm in length, 69.6 mm in width, and 58.9 mm in height. It is not rated for use on industrial trucks under EN1175:2020 when used as an SBO® 60. The part number SBE80ORN-BK is an order variant of the SBE® 80 series housing, which shares all electrical and mechanical specifications with other color variants.
