The KEL-BES-S Split Cable Gland with Brush Strips is designed for cable pass-through in round metric cut-outs of sizes M32 and M50. It can be installed by snapping it directly into the cut-out or by using a locknut, which is included. This product is suitable for routing cables into server racks, control panels, and electrical enclosures. Its split frame design allows for subsequent installation around already routed cables.
The cable gland is made from polycarbonate, with brush strips made from polyamide, and has a flame class rating of UL94-V0, indicating it is self-extinguishing. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -20°C to 90°C and is free from silicone and halogens. The mounting options include snap-in for wall thicknesses between 1 mm and 2.5 mm, while a locknut is required for wall thicknesses outside this range. The external diameter for the M32 cut-out is 46 mm, with a cut-out size of 32.3 mm.
For round metric cut-outs M32/M50 icotek offers the split cable gland with brush strips KEL-BES-S round. It can be either directly snapped into the cut-out or screwed with a locknut, which is included in the shipment.
Split cable glands with brush strips KEL-BES-S are suited for routing cables into server racks, control panels and electrical enclosures. Due to the split frame the KEL-BES-S can also be subsequently installed around the routed cables.
Note: Snap-in mounting possible if wall thickness is 1 - 2.5 mm. For wall thickness < 1 mm and > 2.5 mm, a locknut must be used.
