The KVT-ER 63|4 (part number 45456) is a split cable gland designed for routing and sealing cables with connectors, accommodating cable diameters up to 35 mm. It is suitable for metric cut-outs M63 and provides certified protection ratings of IP66 and IP68, as per EN 60529, making it suitable for harsh environments. The gland is constructed from polypropylene with an integrated elastomer sealing lip, ensuring durability and resistance to various environmental factors. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -40 °C to 110 °C and is halogen-free and silicone-free. The product includes hexagonal locknuts for secure mounting and is compliant with UL Type 12 and 4X standards, indicating its suitability for indoor applications. The KVT-ER 63|4 is designed to facilitate easy installation and maintenance, supporting high cable density and strain relief according to EN 62444.
KVT-ER are split cable glands for routing and sealing cables with connectors, with diameters from 1 to 16 mm (KT 1 - 15) and 13 to 35 mm (KTG 13 - KT 34). But also electric, pneumatic or hydraulic lines without terminals or connectors as well as corrugated conduits can be easily routed (e.g. into control panels, enclosures or machinery), sealed and strain relieved acc. to EN 62444.
The KVT-ER sizes are based on metric standard cut-outs M25, M32, M50 and M63. Hexagonal locknuts are included in the shipment. For assembly, we recommend to tighten the cover lid screws with max. 2 Nm.
Due to the injected gasket and if single-hole grommets are used, the KVT-ER provides certified protection ratings IP66/IP68 and UL type 12 & 4X*.
