The KT-DPF grommets accept a wide range of cable diameters. A great benefit when the exact cable diameter is not known in advance. Due to the flexibility and unique pyramid shape, routing and flexible positioning of rigid cables is much easier compared to using conventional cable glands. Black KT-DPF grommets have an increased chemical resistance, e.g. against aggressive oils, coolants etc. The KT-DPF grommets are not split and therefore only usable for cables without connectors. Cutting of KT-DPF grommets: Cable diameter less 20%. It is recommended that additional strain relief be provided for the cables using a cable tie.
