The KT-DPF (Part No. 41361) is a multi-range cable grommet designed for cable diameters ranging from 3 to 26 mm, featuring a pyramid shape that facilitates easier routing and positioning of rigid cables. It is constructed from elastomer material and has an IP54 rating, providing protection against dust and water splashes. The grommet operates effectively within a temperature range of -30 ¬8C to 90 ¬8C and offers increased chemical resistance against aggressive substances such as oils and coolants. This product is not split, making it suitable only for cables without connectors, and it is recommended to use additional strain relief for the cables with a cable tie. The grommet measures 41.5 mm in length and 42 mm in width, with a mounting height of 33 mm.
The KT-DPF grommets accept a wide range of cable diameters. A great benefit when the exact cable diameter is not known in advance. Due to the flexibility and unique pyramid shape, routing and flexible positioning of rigid cables is much easier compared to using conventional cable glands.
Black KT-DPF grommets have an increased chemical resistance, e.g. against aggressive oils, coolants etc.
The KT-DPF grommets are not split and therefore only usable for cables without connectors.
Cutting of KT-DPF grommets: Cable diameter less 20%. It is recommended that additional strain relief be provided for the cables using a cable tie.
