HIM dual-wall tubing utilizes a meltable inner wall and shrinkable outer wall. When heat is applied, the outer wall contracts forcing the meltable inner wall to flow in and around the object being covered. When cooled, the entire mass becomes a rigid, tough, single molding, making HIM an excellent encapsulation product for protecting delicate components.
