Piston cups are molded packing that have a single sidewall, complete with a sealing lip. The sealing is done by the outer lip, which is beveled and holds pressure unidirectionally. Piston cups can be used in hydraulic or pneumatic applications. Piston cups are used on the head of the piston with a follower plate to hold it on the piston. Piston cups are fabric reinforced in different materials.
