TOPSERV¬Æ 123 is a highly flexible drag chain servo cable designed for demanding applications in automated manufacturing processes. It features a PUR outer sheath that is halogen-free, flame retardant, and resistant to UV, oil, hydrolysis, and microbial attack. The cable operates within a temperature range of -40¬8C to +80¬8C for flexing and -50¬8C to +90¬8C for fixed installations. It includes four power supply cores rated for 600/1000 V and two pairs of control cores rated for 300/500 V, ensuring compatibility with various servo drives and control systems. The cable is constructed with bare copper, ultra-fine wire conductors, and offers a minimum bending radius of approximately 7.5 times the cable diameter. It provides excellent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) with approximately 85% coverage from the braided screen, which is essential for protection against electromagnetic interference. The overall design meets various VDE standards, making it suitable for high-quality and reliable applications in precision servomotors.
The combination of feeder conductors with the control conductors for the braking function and the thermal protection in these cables is ideal. Precision servomotors, as used today in many areas of highly-automated manufacturing processes, call for high quality, reliable and long lasting cables. These requirements are met to a high degree by these cables. The cables have an additional overall shielding to ensure EMC compatibility, i.e. for protection against electromagnetic interference. They are manufactured based on specifications from leading manufactures of servo drives and control systems, as well as in compliance with various VDE standars.
