The Multiflex 512¬Æ -C-PUR is a specialized control cable designed for use in drag chains, featuring a halogen-free construction that enhances its safety and environmental compatibility. It is equipped with bare copper, extra fine wire conductors that are bunch stranded according to DIN VDE standards, ensuring high flexibility and durability. The cable includes a modified TPE-E core insulation and a full-polyurethane outer jacket, which is both cut-resistant and adhesive-free. This cable is suitable for permanent flexible applications in various machinery, including machine tools and robotic systems, and is engineered to withstand high mechanical stress. It offers excellent resistance to oil, UV radiation, ozone, and various solvents, making it versatile for different industrial environments. The temperature range for flexing applications is from -40¬8C to +70¬8C, while fixed installations can operate between -50¬8C and +70¬8C. The Multiflex 512¬Æ -C-PUR also features a tinned copper braided screen with approximately 85% coverage, enhancing its electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance. With a nominal voltage rating of 300/500 V and a test voltage of 3000 V, it meets stringent electrical standards. The cable is designed for high bending cycles, tested for approximately 10 million alternating bending cycles, making it a reliable choice for applications requiring continuous movement.
