Command Cable UL (LiYCY-TP) is a twisted pair control cable designed for various industrial applications, including tool making machinery, conveyor systems, and production lines. It is constructed with tinned copper fine wire conductors and features a special PVC outer jacket that is flame retardant according to UL VW-1 standards. The cable is approved to UL-Style 2464 and has cores compliant with UL-Style 1061/1729. The cable operates within a temperature range of -10¬8C to +80¬8C for flexing applications and -20¬8C to +80¬8C for fixed installations. It supports a nominal voltage of 300 V and has a test voltage of 1500 V, with a minimum breakdown voltage of 3000 V. The insulation resistance is a minimum of 100 MOc per km, and the maximum coupling resistance is 250 Oc/km. This cable is conditionally resistant to oils, solvents, acids, and lye, making it suitable for use in environments where exposure to these substances may occur. The cable's design includes features to optimize electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), such as a tinned copper wire braiding for effective grounding.
