Harwin offers a low insertion force version of its Datamate connector family, currently offering up to 96 contacts. The M83 three-row connectors incorporate specially-designed female contacts, that require a mating force of only 0.2 to 1N, yet deliver the same high-reliability performance as higher-force Datamate M80 contacts. High levels of shock and vibration Datamate connectors conform to British Standard 9525-F0033 and can withstand high levels of shock, acceleration and vibration in addition to a large number of mating cycles, all without loss of performance. Datamate 3-Row Off-The-Shelf features a selection of signal connectors in male Vertical and Horizontal PC Tail, with female Vertical PC Tail and Crimp versions stocked as standard. High-Reliability Applications Targeted at applications such as industrial control systems, head-up displays, air-to-air missiles, military communications, and military and passenger aircraft. All connectors are fitted with jackscrews as standard, for secure mating and board mounting to achieve maximum reliability.
