The Biochrom Asys UVM340 is a PC-controlled, monochromator-based absorbance reader ideal for multi-user labs running a variety of assays including those that require spectral and linear scanning. The monochromator system means any wavelength can be measured. Features and Benefits No need for filters! Shaking, ensures complete mixing of solutions, cells to stay in suspension and coloured solutions to be homogenized Linear scanning, enables verification of agglutination and coagulation studies to be performed Spectral scanning enables contamination detection, peak absorbance detection and product formation studies to be performed Wavelength range from 340 nm to 800 nm enables a wide range of assays to be performed Automatic performance verification ensures accuracy of data Plate formats from 12 - 96 well can be used enabling flexibility in application type Single channel system avoids restrictions imposed by multi-channel systems Low profile, self-centering plate carrier and front loading allows easy integration into automated systems. Choice of software packages Software Two software programs are supplied as standard with the UVM340. DigiRead is used for single or dual point absorbance measurements.
