Bermuda style shutters are installed flush with the window frame and hinged at the top of the shutter.
The hinges are surface mounted at the top corners of the shutter.
To open, the shutter is pushed out from the bottom and held in the open position with a 24" shutter stay (not included but offered for purchase during checkout).
Hinge measures 3-1/2" horizontally and 6-3/16" vertically.The width of each hinge leg is about 1-1/16". Hinge projection is 1-5/16". Thickness of hinge material is about 1/4".
Made from cast iron and coated with a black textured powder coat.
Hinges are sold by the pair. A pair is what you need to hang one shutter.
The hinges are not handed (hinges are reversible).
Shutter may be easily removed after installation by removal of the hinge pin and cotter key.
