When walls and floor settle, it can make door panels hard to open
The installation of these hinges allows easy adjustment of the door in both the horizonal direction (+/-2 mm) and the vertical direction (+/-3 mm)
The adjustment is made by turning a screw after installation.
Each hinge is reversible and has maintenance free bearings
DIMENSIONS; Hinge measures 4" wide in the open position. Hinge measures 4" tall not including the top of the hinge pin. There is a thin leaf and a thick leaf. The thin leaf is 3/32" in thickness. The thick leaf is 11/32" in thickness.
PLEASE NOTE BEFORE ORDERING: Each door panel requires one "Set Hinge" and two "Guide Hinges"
PLEASE NOTE BEFORE ORDERING: The jamb side of this hinge has a thicker than normal leaf and will require a deeper mortise than usual.
The vertical adjustment is made with the "Set Hinge"
The horizontal adjustment is made with the "Guide Hinges"
Screws are not included. The door side (thin side of hinge) requires 4 each #10 flat head screws. The jamb side (thick side of hinge) requires 4 each #8 flat head screws.
