Simply attach one eye to the face of the gate post and one eye to theface of the gate.
Accepts all sizes of padlocks.
The mounting plate of each eye measures 2-1/8" by approximately 7/8".
The oval padlock eye is approximately 5/8" by 3/4".
1/2 inch long machine screws and nuts are included. May be attached using wood screws but wood screws are not included. If using wood screws we recommend using #12 pan head sheet metal screws (offered for purchase during checkout).
