The S11851-1106-01 is a high-speed back-thinned CCD image sensor designed for spectrometers, featuring improved etaloning characteristics that enhance sensitivity and reduce interference effects. It operates with a thermoelectric cooler to maintain a constant element temperature of approximately 5 ¬8C, ensuring stable performance during operation. This sensor offers high quantum efficiency across a wide spectral range, from UV to near-infrared, with a nearly flat spectral response. The device has a pixel size of 14 vó 14 ¬µm and a high CCD node sensitivity of 8 ¬µV/e-. It also supports a high full well capacity and wide dynamic range, making it suitable for applications requiring precise light measurement. The sensor's design includes an anti-blooming function, which helps manage excessive light exposure.
Improved etaloning characteristics, Constant element temperature control
These are back-thinned CCD image sensors designed for spectrometers. Two types consisting of a low noise type (S11851-1106-01, S11851-1106-01) and high-speed type (S11851-1106-01) are available with improved etaloning characteristics. They offer nearly flat spectral response characteristics with high quantum efficiency from the UV to near infrared region. A thermoelectric cooler is placed inside the package to keep the element temperature constant (approx. 5 °C) during operation.
