This moving coil actuator (NCC05-11-011-1V) comes supplied with an aluminum bobbin in order to prevent eddy currents from being generated in the bobbin, and allow for a minimal resistance to the desired motion. This actuator has been manufactured using low-outgassing materials as selected by NASA in order to make this actuator vacuum compatible. This actuator also comes supplied with a thru hole, should your application require a hollow actuator.
