The TLynx® family of non-isolated DC-DC modules is the 3rd generation of Lineage's world class point-of-load (POL) converters. These products are available in three nestable standard DOSA footprints: Pico 2A-6A (12.2mmx12.2mm), Micro 12A (20.3mmx11.4mm), and Mega 20A-30A (33mmx13.46mm) for high flexibility and reduced risk. These high efficiency, superior thermal derating modules operate over a wide range of input voltages (2.4Vdc-5.5Vdc, 4.5Vdc-14Vdc, 3Vdc-14Vdc, 8Vdc-16Vdc) options and provide a precisely regulated output voltage ranging from 0.59Vdc to 8Vdc, programmable via an external resistor. Standard features include remote On/Off, programmable output voltage, monotonic start-up/shutdown, over current and overtemperature protection, and output voltage sequencing. The powerful Tunable Loop feature allows the user to optimize the dynamic response of the converter to match the load and significantly improve transient response while simultaneously reducing the amout of external filtering. The highest current module (30A) is also parallelable for increased expandibility. Ruggedized (-D) versions are capable of operating in extremely high temperature environments up to 105°C and withstand higher levels of shock and vibration (MIL STD 810F).
