Torque arms support the weight of the end effector / tooling, instead of the operator. The load 'floats', no up/down pushbuttons are required. The arms are lightweight and agile. The axis assemblies are made from anodized aluminum. Softstops at the first and second axis are adjustable. The arms are clamped to the post, the height can be adjusted. Brakes are available for the first and second axis, to eliminate drift. Bearing block assemblies are available at the end of the second arm allowing the end effectors to rotate. The parallel arms can be fitted with vertical travel stops. The STD-TA series is compatible with the Pinpoint 'SmartARM' system. This SmartARM system tracks the position of the tool and allows individual torque values to be programmed for every fastener.
