Rotary continuous filler GEA Colby rotary fillers are available in a number of different sizes, including 8, 10, 12, 16, 20 and 24-head units. Tare and gross checkweighers on all GEA Colby high-speed rotary fillers (maximum throughput is over 400 cpm) provide feedback to each filling head, ensuring maximum accuracy. GEA Colby fillers can successfully fill the widest range of powders from free flow powders such as skim milk to sticky powders such as chocolate drinks. Depending on the product to be filled, GEA Colby filling technologies such as auger, auger/vacuum, vacuum only, vibro-fill or wiped cup will be used. Rotary indexing filler GEA Colby's revolutionary indexing rotary fillers are highly accurate and occupy half the area of conventional systems. In a single compact machine, containers are tare weighed, bulk filled, gross weighed, topped-up and check weighed to provide the highest degree of accuracy available. Indexing filler GEA Colby designs and builds a wide range of simple indexing fillers for different filling duties and rates. We can supply 1, 2 or 4 head indexing fillers that utilize inline container indexing or, for higher rates, side container transfer. These systems can easily be fitted with checkweighers to optimize 'single shot' fill weight control, or alternatively can be used in conjunction with an integrated top- up filler with final checkweigher, for unrivalled accuracy.
