Shims refer to a broad class of specialty flat washers that are used for positioning and spacing. While shims look like flat washers they are different in that shims are typically made from non-ferrous materials, using more precise materials and production techniques. We offer a broad range of types including; 1020 steel shims, 316 stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass. We also carry laminated, extra thick wide, extra thick narrow, plastic, lengthening and shortening shims, as well as arbor and extra thick arbor shims.
