HP980X erbium-doped fiber is designed to provide high efficiency and spectral flatness for improved performance in high-power DWDM and CATV amplifiers. The co-dopant composition and waveguide design allow high-power conversion efficiency for 980 nm pump powers near 250 mW and higher. We use patented processes to protect against hydrogen-induced loss.
