OFS Factory5™ Cable

Description
This cable provides extra protection in harsh indoor manufacturing environments, enabling highly intelligent communication interfaces over rugged areas--the factory floor and elsewhere. The cable design is based on our HCS 200 μm fibers and is fully compatible with our crimp and cleave termination system. Quickly terminate cable ends in the field with no epoxy or polishing required. Cables built with 200 μm HCS fiber are an alternative to the plastic fiber frequently used with transceiver components, offering high performance at comparable cost. Aramid yarns and an ETFE buffer provide strength, durability, and fatigue resistance. Full assemblies incorporating ST or SMA connector styles are available. The base fiber for this cable is also available separately.
