Titebond Titebond Professional Drywall Adhesive 5352

Description
Titebond Drywall Adhesive is specifically designed for applying drywall to wood, hardboard, gypsum wallboard, cold-rolled steel and aluminum. Its strong initial tack allows the panels to be positioned quickly without slipping. Titebond Drywall Adhesive fills irregularities and gaps in substrates, providing a strong bond and a more solid backup surface. It is unaffected by moisture and resists aging - it will not become hard or brittle with age. It exceeds the ASTM C557 specification. Ideal for plywood, hardboard, gypsum wallboard, some steel and aluminum Strong initial tack allows panels to be positioned quickly without slipping Resists aging - Will not become hard or brittle Exposure to moisture or intermittent cold water has little effect on bond Fills irregularities between materials to provide a more solid backup surface Application Temperature 10°F. to 100°F. Service Temperature Range 0°F. to 120°F. Method of Application Cartridge/caulking gun Working Time Approximately 20 minutes for a 1/4" bead Working Surfaces Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free from excessive oil, grease, water, dirt or any other material that may deter adhesion. Cleanup Scrape off dried excess with a putty knife. Remove residue with mineral spirits or equivalent solvent. Follow solvent vendor 's precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent on an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface. Do not use on polystyrene foam or rigid plastics such as A.B.S. or high-impact polystyrene. Do not use on vinyl-coated drywall. Use Titebond Interior/Exterior Construction Adhesive for bonding polystyrene or rigid plastics. Do not adhere one non-porous material to another since this will slow or prevent drying.
