Titebond Solvent Free I/O Carpet & Tile Adhesive is an acrylic-latex adhesive for the installation of carpet, artificial turf and plastic-backed corded tiles. It offers good initial tack for a quick and easy installation. It also provides a strong bond that is highly water-resistant. Titebond Solvent Free is environmentally superior and contains no ozone-depleting chemicals. It is nonflammable, emits no harmful fumes or offensive odors and cleans up with water. Ideal for carpets, artificial turf and tiles Quick grab - Professional strength Excellent water-resistance Environmentally safe - Nonflammable Application Temperature Above 40°F. for adhesive and substrates Service Temperature Range -20°F. to 120°F. Method of Application For smooth and foam-backed carpets, use a 3/32" U-notch trowel. For deeply textured backings or rough substrates, use a 1/8" U-notch trowel. Working Time 30-40 minutes maximum Working Surfaces Surface must be dry and free of any material that may deter adhesion. Cut and fit all materials before applying adhesive. Apply adhesive using the proper trowel. Allow adhesive to set up for 10-20 minutes. Lay goods into wet adhesive and seal all seams. For unitary and secondary backed goods, roll with a 75 lb. roller. For foam-backed goods, use a pushbroom or carpet tube to press goods into adhesive. Allow adhesive to dry well before exposing installations to cleaning water. Cleanup Clean tools and excess adhesive with water while wet. If adhesive has dried, use mineral spirits or equivalent solvent. Follow solvent vendor's precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent in an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface. Keep from freezing. Adhesive is not freeze/thaw stable. Materials and adhesive should be kept at 70°F. prior to application. Air temperature should be at least 40°F. during application.
