Method of Application
Carpets-For conventional, unitary and secondary, use a square-notch trowel measuring 3/32" x 3/32" x 3/32". For deeply textured, waffles and ribbed backings, use a square-notch trowel measuring 1/8" x 1/8", spaced 1/16" apart. Tiles-For smooth surfaces, use a square-notch trowel measuring 1/16" x 1/16" x 1/16". For rough surfaces, use a square-notch trowel measuring 3/32" x 3/32" x 3/32". Sheet Goods-Use a square-notch trowel measuring 1/16" x 1/16" x 1/16".
Working Time
15 minutes to 2 hours; depending on type of installation
Working Surfaces
Surface must be dry and free of any material that may deter adhesion. Cut and fit all materials before applying adhesive. Apply adhesive using proper trowel. Install carpet, tiles or sheet goods within 15-60 minutes. Roll with appropriate roller. Allow adhesive to dry well before exposing installation to cleaning water.
Cleanup
Tools and excess adhesive may be cleaned with water while wet. If adhesive has dried, use mineral spirits or equivalent solvent. Follow solvent vendor's precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent in an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface.
Not recommended for outdoor use. Keep from freezing. Subfloors and materials should be at least 65°F. prior to and after installation.
