Forrest Technical Coatings 1A251H201 Silencer Charcoal is a high heat coating formulated with a unique blend of heat resistant pigments in a silicone polymer resin that provides excellent color retention and film integrity in working temperature up to 1200°F (650°C). The coating has high level of corrosion resistance due to the special zinc chemistry that actually becomes more effective when the paint is placed in-service at high temperatures. The coating can be applied for air dry or for force drying with nominal heat. The coating is a proven solution for silencers, manufacturing exhaust, incinerators and other exterior exposed high heat metal applications. The aerosol formula is easy to use and exactly matches the 251H201 Silencer Charcoal color standard. For manufacturers and distributors the product is packaged 12 cans per case.
