First Sensor AG Embedded Area View

The Embedded Area View application from First Sensor is the latest technology of driver assistance systems coupled with long-term automotive camera design know-how. Area View delivers real-time images not only from a bird‘s eye view, but from any angle in a 360° all-round view. The application architecture on hardware and software side meets embedded requirements, e.g. hard real-time and secure abilities. The system is developed under Automotive SPICE (ISO/IEC 15504-2) process rules and meets the Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL). Additional functionalities like object recognition of pedestrians or traffic signs, distance measurement of objects, tracking, etc. are modular addable.
