The Hallite 511 Series is a loaded U cup seal designed for both rod and piston applications, featuring a polyurethane or polyester shell energized by a resilient O-ring. This design enhances sealing force at low pressures and ensures complete lip actuation as pressure increases. The seal is suitable for single acting applications and can be configured for double acting use when fitted back to back. It offers excellent abrasion resistance and is available in a wide range of sizes. The operating conditions include a maximum pressure of 350 bar (5000 psi) and a temperature range from -40¬8C to +110¬8C (-40¬8F to +230¬8F). The Hallite 511 is compatible with mineral-based hydraulic fluids and is manufactured under stringent quality controls to ensure consistent performance.
