Fargo Controls, Inc. 18 mm Metal Housing Photelectric Sensor, DC S4455

The S4455 is an 18 mm metal-housed DC photoelectric sensor with a nickel-plated brass case and IP67 protection, designed for reflector-based detection. It features programmable NPN/PNP output with NO and NC functions, a sensitivity adjustment trimmer, LED status indicators, and short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Operating from 10-30 Vdc, it has a maximum operating distance of 50 cm when used with the S4225 reflector, a power drain of ≤50 mA, a voltage drop of ≤1.8 V in the on state, and a switching current limit of 200 mA. The sensor supports an operating frequency of up to 400 Hz and immunity to ambient light exceeding 10,000 Lux. The operating temperature range is -20 to +50 °C, with storage from -20 to +90 °C. This model uses a connector interface.
