LZAU and LZBU are linear slides without drives based on linear bearings. They consist of a Quadro unit with shafts and shaft blocks or supports. Quadro slides are designed for average demands in terms of guidance and positioning accuracy and are equipped with effective seals. Type A LZBU slides are fitted on both sides with tandem shaft blocks which are normally fixed while the Quadro unit moves axially. Type B LZBU carriages are fitted on both sides with tandem shaft trestles which normally move axially while the Quadro unit is fixed. LZAU slides have supported shafts with an open Quadro unit for long stroke lengths.
